HSA Biology - Review of Units 1 and 2 - October 18, 19

Announcements:

The HSA Benchmark FAST Assessment will be next class and will cover all of Unit 1 (Scientific Method) and Unit 2 (Ecology)!!  This will count as a grade in our class.

HSA Biology - Relationships and Symbiosis - October 14, 17

Announcements:

Homework: Using the text book, read pages 94-97 (on ecological succession).  Answer the "Creative Writing" assignment from the blue box at the bottom of page 97, by writing a response of at least two paragraphs on a separate sheet of paper.  This writing assignment will be collected next class!


The HSA Benchmark Test is October 20th (A Day) and 24th (B Day).  The test will cover all of Unit 1 and Unit 2 and will count as an assessment grade for this class!

Ecology Quiz make-ups must be completed after school this coming week. The deadline for make-ups is this Thursday, October 20th.

Grades close in two weeks!! Make sure to check schoolmax and print out/complete any missing assignments!

Today's Objective:

Scientists will identify and describe the 5 types of relationships among organisms in an ecosystem (mutualism, parasitism, commensalism, competition, and predation) IN ORDER TO understand how organisms interact within an ecosystem.
