HSA Biology - Body Systems Day 1 - April 30, May 1

Announcements:

The evolution test was given last Thursday and Friday in class.

All evolution test make-ups must be completed by this Friday after school (May 4). However, all incomplete tests will be entered as a zero on progress reports unless they are made up by this Wednesday (May 2) after school!

Homework:
Period 1A, 2A, and 4B: Finish the homeostasis reading and questions.

Period 4A and 1B: Finish the body systems and homeostasis practice sheet.


Today's Objective:

Scientists will describe the function of each body system in order to explain how they work together to help the body maintain homeostasis.

AP Biology - Nervous System - April 19

Announcements:

The Plant Exam was given last class.

For the rest of the year until the AP Test (on May 14th) we will spend:
  • 1/2 of the period learning about a particular body system
  • 1/2 of the period reviewing the key points in a particular unit to prepare for the AP test]
Homework: Complete both practice free response questions, spending only 22 minutes per free response question. These will be graded based on the AP scoring guideline.
